Fabulous hoops

Ok, here it is, this tutorial came out soo awesome, I'm very happy to introduce it to you, I hope you like it. For this project I wanted the look of Tourmaline, so I used beads with similar colors:
Onyx (black), African Jade (dark green), Prasiolite (light green), Rhodonite (pink), Garnet (burgundy) and finally another black Onyx.

You can use from swarovkys cristals to seed beads, semy precious stones to gemstones, you can make them unicolor or with all the colors of the rainbow, they will look Fabulous no matter what.I hope you like it.

Error & Success

This first pendant "Error" Took a lot of planing, I designed that flower first in a paper, then I painted it trying to mimic the colors of enamel I have, you know to achieve a good color convination, then I twisted every little divider in a smaller scale to make my design into this pendant , after so much work this came out, it is not bad, but I'm somehow disapointed because it didn't came like I imagen it would, so I started to look for the reason and this is something I discover:

When you use only matte colors there is a lack in three dimentional feeling that I happen to like so much, also matte colors tend to be more moody than transparents, you can see a lot more bubbles formed on matte colors.

For this second pendant "Success" I worked half as much as for the first one and it came out so much nicer and here is why:

I used only transparent colors in several shades of the same color, traying to make degrades of the color so is has a more three dimentional feeling. Also the colors seem to be more complementary to each other. So next colors I'm buying are going to be different shades of transparent green, because I use here the only two I have, and some how it would look even better with a third shade of green.

Thanks for looking
